Strawberries and cream Wedding Cake

A three tier chocolate wedding cake. The cake is covered by a layer of marzipan, coated in a white chocolate sauce and then encased white Belgian chocolate cigarillos. The cake is decorated with fresh strawberries dipped in Belgian chocolate and brown chiffon ribbon. This wedding cake was eaten as the dessert at the wedding reception.

This actual wedding cake was delivered to a wedding reception at The Wynyard Golf Club.

Wynyard Golf Club is approximately 8 miles north of Stockton-on-Tees, 8.5 miles from Middlesbrough, 13 miles north of Yarm and 20 miles south-east of Durham

The strawberry wedding cake displayed was made by Rachael for our wedding reception at Wynyard golf club. The cake was the centrepiece of our buffet dinner and cut into pieces for the desert. Rachael advised us on a number of options from a fantastic array of designs in her portfolio. As you can see the result was a spectacular cake fit for any banquet. And believe me it really did taste as good as it looked. All of our guests complimented the cake for its design and taste. I would recommend Rachael to anyone wanting to put the finishing touch to their wedding menu. She is ultra professional and an exceptionally talented designer and baker of delicious cakes.
